Welcome to ORSPEX. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ORSPEX website at https://orspex.netlify.app/ (the "Site") and any software products purchased or downloaded from us, including ORSPEX Business Suite, ORSPEX Business Companion, and ORSPEX PDF Compressor (collectively, the "Products").

By accessing or using the Site or Products, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Short version: Buy once, own it forever. Don't pirate our software. Don't resell it as your own. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. We're not liable for business losses caused by software bugs.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to purchase or use our Products. If you are purchasing on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

2.1 ORSPEX Business Suite

Upon purchasing ORSPEX Business Suite for $50, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software on computers owned or controlled by you or your business, for your internal business purposes.

2.2 ORSPEX Business Companion

The Business Companion is provided free of charge to verified Business Suite owners. It is licensed under the same terms as the Business Suite.

2.3 ORSPEX PDF Compressor

The PDF Compressor Windows app is provided free and open source under the license published in its GitHub repository. The online web version is provided free for personal and commercial use.

4.1 Payments via Gumroad

All purchases are processed securely by Gumroad. We do not process or store payment card details. Your purchase is subject to Gumroad's Terms of Service.

4.2 Pricing

ORSPEX Business Suite is priced at $50 USD (one-time). Prices are subject to change, but changes will not affect licenses already purchased.

4.3 Taxes

You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar taxes in your jurisdiction. Gumroad may collect and remit VAT in certain regions.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on ORSPEX Business Suite. See our Refund Policy for full details. The free PDF Compressor and Business Companion are non-refundable (they are free).

6. Updates and Support

After 12 months, you may continue using the last updated version. Renewed update access may be offered separately.

7. Intellectual Property

All ORSPEX software, source code, branding, logos, and documentation remain the exclusive property of ORSPEX. These Terms grant you a license to use the software — they do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.

8. Privacy and Data

Our Site uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data. Our desktop software (Business Suite, Business Companion, PDF Compressor) runs entirely offline — we do not collect any data from your installation. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORSPEX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE OR SITE.

Our total liability to you for any and all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim — or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ORSPEX from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the software in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license if you breach these Terms — including sharing license keys, reverse engineering, or redistributing the software. Upon termination, you must stop using and delete all copies.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the UAE.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Site or Products constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
